Question on deleting domains

I want a name but it is taken at most "snap" places.... once.

Is there a place I can go to bid ....

You could also try the Godaddy backorder service (has caught a couple of lower profile names for me although I'm sure the regulars here will tell you it's not the best service compared to some of the others) but Pool is def. better though more expensive at $60 if they catch the name.
