I'm moving back to India in a week, permanently.

I have a few questions for you guys. It would be great if someone from India could answer them:

1. What is the monthly Paypal withdrawal limit to the bank account for Indians?

2. Which bank in India clears international checks fastest? Also, which bank is best suited for doing online business, domaining, etc.?

3. What kind of taxes do you pay on your domain sales, if they exceed six figures in an year? I've never paid taxes in India so I have no clue.

1)Mine is $1,00,000 withdrawal limit/

2)Know a days paypal provide bank account transfer so it takes 7 days max.

3) ICICI Bank for me 30 days but now a ays no cheques are required as bank transfer available by paypal.

I think it th taxes are based on the limit you cross once your earning crosses 1 lakh forty thousand then the tax is 12% on the profit you show.

That is what i think you need to consult and CA for that

1) Got a limit of $100,00. Never withdrawn that much though :p

2) Around December or so, Paypal started providing Bank Transfers to Indian Banks. If you are withdrawing $150 + then no fee is charged, but if you withdrawing les sthan $150 then a fee of 50 INR (Approx. $1.25) is charged.
I'd recommend HDFC as the transfers take place within 5-7 days which is pretty good compared to the average of 10 -14 days. I've never used any other bank, so can't compare them.

3) Never paid taxes as such a situation has never arisen.

My current daily credit card withdrawal is $500.00 and monthly bank transfer is limit is $2500.00.

I have transferred money to my credit card (Citibank) few times, but as on yet bank hasn’t charged anything extra other than that Paypal charges $5.00 for each transaction.

Once I consulted with HDFC Bank, they told they would charge Rs.300.00 for each fund transfer to Bank (but person was not much clear about Paypal and the procedure)

Anyways kareena looking hot :hehe: in your http://kareena.in/

a paypal limit of $2500 would be a problem.

How come some of you have $2500 limit, while some have $100,000 limits?

This is what paypal withdrawal limit showing currently.
Might be others getting 100K withdrawal limit due to their high credit limit cards but still $100,000x12 looking to high.

if you provide all the documents to them and your past working counts to get your limit to 100k a month
