Question about "stickies"

Just something I noticed.

If you are like me, I surf this forum via the "View New Posts" route. I seldom click on a specific forum topic. I like to see what is out there and I find that this is the best way to glance at all the new threads/posts.

Because of this I don't get to see the "stickies" at the top of each specific forum...or do I?

Do the stickie posts show up under "View New Posts" or do I have to click on a specific forum to notice them at the top of the page.

I've posted enough on this site that I should probably know this already but I'm just not sure.

Stickies are viewable at the top of a particular forum, and not when someone uses the View New Posts feature.

I browse the forumk this way as well, and no, the stickies don't appear at the top of the list of new posts. They are on top only within the corresponding forum.

To me, this brings down the value of a "stickie".

I just purchased one at 825 NP$'s, which IMHO is a great "bargain" for the amout of eyeballs it gets ... whether or not it is viewed in this manner ("View New Posts") - which I don't use, either. :)
Just my two sense.
B-)
