imo if domainer bought he overpaid for it i would not go above 8k for safe buying.

True and seriously i wouldnt buy 4l.com above 75 usd max max i can go upto 85 usd.
i buy alot of bargains not lucky in 4l.com but still i find good deals
we can find deals if seller is in hurry...

Its 10th smallest for a good reason would you say? Pxo isn't a word, has 3 syllables, and as an acronym doesn't mean anything worthwhile except an airport no ones ever heard of

I agree, although it is a commonly used acronym for pedestrian crossovers as I understand it. But I agree, with just under 2 million Google results less popular than most other LLL that sold, and that is why price is near the bottom end. TXO, NXO probably similar in quality, sold for slightly more and slightly less than $16k. Interesting GoValue estimate it at just over $17k. So agree that a strong case can be made that it went at just about the right price. So in two posts I have changed my mind, somewhat! Thanks for your contribution.

These average and median prices are not very meaningful, because thery are a mix of reseller and end user sales (ratio of end user to reseller prices is usually more than 10:1, so in actuality we have two separate clusters).

That is of course true for any NameBio data, a mix of multiple sales venues, some wholesale and some retail.

In case readers interested I extracted just the Sedo sales for LLL during last year (25 of them) since that is supposedly retail only. The average price is $98.5k, well within the standard deviation of the average for the entire group given above. The median is significantly higher than for the larger group, however, $35.5k. Keep in mind not too numerous a dataset however.

As I see it, pxo is neither a Western premium nor a Chinese premium LLL. It doesn't seem to be a word in any language or a common acronym, so the floor price for LLL should be about right, which is around $15k-$18k today.

This holds true if it's a reseller purchase.... otherwise it's way too low.

The sales of PXO and YAL for characteristically low amounts are highly suspect. Both domains were managed by email addresses that exist in the "have I been pwned" database.

In particular, PXO changed from [email protected] to [email protected] on 10/4/2018 and then into privacy WHOIS.

YAL went from a Yahoo and Comcast email into privacy WHOIS in 2015; both emails are in the "pwned" database.
