I'm normally not a big fan of .cc extensions, but I came across this one today. It is my latest one regged.

I could imagine a credit card named purse, so hold on to this name. Could be worth $xxx

A Purse can also be used as gambling parlance as well. BTW- .cc needn't be used as a Credit Card domain.. after all, it's a ccTLD, it doesn't have to "mean" anything. It's what's to the left of the dot that counts.

Handbags and purses are a popular shopping and fashion item as well.. low xxx as is, undeveloped, more with development.

dgridley, I would have to disagree with you on the comment, "It's what's on the left that counts.

We are very conditioned as a society to type .com in after the word or thought we have in our minds.

For example, I was sitting at my computer and heard an ad for a product that I wanted to check out and I started typing and sure enough I typed in .com instead of .net in which the url was. WE are very conditioned far more to what is on the right if you ask me.

True, to a point.. but a HV keyword to the left of "any" ext is still better than a poor or madeup one.. I've had several .ws domains in the past that did quite well and quickly made it to the first page (and the first 10 results) of the SE's with no help on my part, so go figure. IMO, I'll take a good keyword in a little-known ccTLD before I'd work at having to brand a so-so .com.

That may be true for the net. But take that to peoples ears and they will not hear it. For some reason we only hear .com Well this is true for me anyway. lol

Thanks for the feedback. FYI, name was rejected by Great Domains. I guess it didn't come to a great surprise, but they sure are mysterious on what names they do accept.

no great loss as I don't believe they've yet to sell a .cc.. I had several listed with them.
