I was thinking that selling it for around 5,000-10,000 USD. I was wondering if that sounds like a fair deal or am I overestimating the value? *Sorry I just looked at the rules for posting here. I acquired the domain for a service I planned on starting, somewhat of a affiliate marketing coach. I did a lot of searching to find the perfect catch name that would be easily remembered. It currently doesn't get traffic but it is pending review for cash parking at godaddy. It was purchased less than a month ago.*

Well I got pretty lucky with that. I got it at godaddy for $1 but the price I payed wouldn't really shouldn't affect the value correct?

Will I buy that domain for reg fee? NO, because I am not an end user.
You can get the expected price under two conditions:

• A end user desperately looking for exactly this name for his/her idea.
• You develop that site and make it a hit.

Thank you for the input Ikhub. So the chances of a end user needing that exact name and also willing to pay that are pretty rare and they would go with the easier option of changing the name needed? If I did develop the site and made it a hit wouldn't I then be selling the site along with the domain, If so wouldn't I be able to sell it for a higher price? What would be a reasonable price be if I wanted to increase the target audience?

Okay thank you for the input. I registered with intent on building a affiliate marketing coach / headhunter website and figured I would also be able to sell if I chose not to go the website direction but I'm new to selling domains so all your input is much appreciated.
