.pt domain names

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to register .pt domains (directly .pt, not com.pt etc.)? I don't speak portuguese so the documents at the PT registry didn't make much sense. If it is open to registry, are there any english registrars?

Domain names under .pt may be registered directly collective entities, public entities,
individual entrepreneurs, liberal professionals and the requesters and owners of
trademarks, presented by national, communitarian or international ways.

yet I can't seem to find a single registrar that does this

only companies can register .pt domains.
you are require to prove you have a portuguese company or the domain will be deleted, unless you have a register trademark in other countrie and prove it.

According to http://online.dns.pt/dns/do?com=DS;3276782365;111;+PAGE(4000002)+K-CAT-COD(DOMPT);#598 Collective Entities, singular entrepreneurs, liberal professionals, public entities with administrative autonomy and any person/entity if they are the owner of a Trademark can register .pt domains.

.com.pt domains on the other hand can be registered by anybody.
