Whats your views on it? Would it be worth some development?

Well, its a good domain BUT the extension will hamper any reseller value.
The .com hasnt been developed yet which is good news and it looks like the .net is going to be developed soon.

The problem is, to make this more valuable, you will need to throw some money and time at it as it is a very competitive area with an abundance of PS3 sites and forums and more popping up regularly.
Of course, this means that there is many potential customers but I think you'd be better off developing a site on a .com for the moment....

If you cant find a decent valued .com then I guess you might as well develop it to the extent it becomes more attractive to a reseller. The only end-users in this case will be other resellers with a side-job of development like myself..

Alas, I have too many of them already...
