Yeah its a premium name for a news portal and forum.

If you start developing it slowly now it would be very popular by the PS3 launch date and would guarantee at least a steady income of money from users clicking your adverts etc.

If youre going to do it, develop it now slowly, otherwiser by launch date their will be billions fo PS3 forums and yours wont stand out.

Seeing how I just paid $750 for it...I can't be grateful for the appraisals. Thanks anyways guys. I knew I was overpaying but I need a ps3 forum name and ps3talk.com is as close as I can get. I have ps3forum.us and ps3forums.us too but I prefer a dot com. I have pspforums.com, nintendodsforums.com and 360forum.com as well so you can see I will develop them. I needed a PS3 forum name really really badly. I hate overpaying. DAMMIT!

The name itself works quite well (intrinsic value probably high xx to low xxx), but I think the context of a network (and given the relative scarcity of good PS3 forum domains), your price may approach a proper valuation.

Yeah thanks and I agree but as a reseller and wheeler/dealer it sucks to overpay. I would have liked to have paid $200-$400 instead. But I know I needed this name to get into next-gen properly. Now I just need Nintendo to finalize the name for their next console and I will be good.

Also, on your domain name. IMHO opinion, you DIDN'T overpay. I actually say you got it for a steal. If you were to put some effort and more cash into getting this FULLY developed before the launch of the console, I can easily see it going for mid xxxx$ to high xxxx$. If you can get a steady base of fans coming in daily...before launch you could have over 10,000 members depending on your advertising and what you actually decide to do. All I can say is best of luck and you have money invested indeed into this domain name, dont let it go to shame. Put you mind to it and develop it!

I would say its worth at least high $xxx, but as the others have said, it is A) worth more to you from a development point of you, and B) when developed could easily surpass the mid $xxxx range. Good luck!
