πŸͺ§ Protocolium VS Protocol

A logical question for any investor or tech founder πŸ‘‡

If you had only two options to build your next technology project:

πŸ”Ή Protocol.com β€” priced at $10,000,000
πŸ”Ή Protocolium.com β€” priced at $30,000

πŸ”Έ Which option would you choose ?

Would you spend millions just for a shorter name,
or choose a name that carries the same technical essence, a scientific and professional tone, and strong brand potential β€” while preserving a substantial budget for product development, scaling, and team building?

πŸ’‘ From my perspective, in the world of technology:

the name matters β€” but the product, vision, and execution matter more.
The smart choice is often the one that serves the project in the long term, not the one that drains its budget from day one.

just because you stuck ium at the end of a word doesn't make it premium....
I hadn’t realized it’s actually an exact match mashup: protocol + premium = protocolium.

Neither. There are more than two options.

If my budget was $30k, I would buy the best domain I could afford. This isn't it.

Or, just handreg a comparable domain.

I personally wouldn't pay $10 for "protocolium.com", but if I thought it were a cool name, I might pay $10 for it.

Irrespective of your budget, Protocol.com is not a ten-million-dollar name, as the OP suggests.

Yeah, no way $10m.

The OP creates a false choice.

Would you rather vastly overpay for a great domain for vastly overpay for a handreg quality domain?

In reality, there are endless other (better) options.
