Zap... I don't know how else to explain it. A mortgage is a property loan. So if we break down the meaning of this domain name, we get:

PropertyPropertyLoanBroker

Please trust us on this. I may suck at domaining, but I'm very good at English.

What are "different functioning" and "functioned was given 3 different names" supposed to mean? They don't make sense in English (not a problem, I just want to make sure I am understanding what you are saying).

Lets look of it as a basic math equation (well, close enough, im not using addition/multiplication/etc):

A = Property
B = Mortgage
C = Broker

So A B C = Property Mortgage Broker.

Sounds great so far without considering meaning.

But then when you look up the dictionary definition, you find something else:

B = Mortgage = Property Loan = A D (Let's call D = Loan)

So now we have:

A B C = A A D C
Property Mortgage Broker = Property Property Loan Broker

Still doesn't sound redundant to you?

Your understanding isn't totally wrong... It refers to something being unnecessary; something that can be removed without losing meaning or value. In this case the word "property" is redundant because "mortgage" is already defined as a "property loan".

I mean this objectively and not offensively, but you don't understand the English language (I won't speak for other languages as there are sometimes nuances). I am not squishing anything in there or making up stories. In English, it is redundant to use a word in front of a word that already includes that word as part of it. This isn't even subjective. This is English.

Mortgage and "home loan" are often used interchangeably. However (if you want to get technical), the mortgage is really the agreement that makes your home loan work – not the loan itself. For real estate transactions, agreements need to be in writing, so a mortgage is a document that gives your lender the right to foreclose on your home.

I think this lesson is very applicable to the domain, however. It explains why we would not value it very highly and why. Understanding English is critical to buying English word/phrase domains.

If you saw the DICTIONARY definition, property is part of the definition of mortgage, thus it is redundant to use "property" to narrow down mortgage.
