Tips for promoting my layout site???

Hey guys. Ive started a layout site that can be found in my signature. Its a niche layout site. Myspace just released profile 2.0(which is now all valid coding) and I was one of the first to provide the 2.0 layouts. That helped my traffic a bit. Since the site went up six days ago ive had 290 unique views and 914 page views according to google analytics. Does that seem like a resonable amount of views in that amount of time? Ive been lighting up blogs and social networks as much as I can. This has seemed to work fairly well so far.
The site is themed around Fall and Thanksgiving. Theres not much time left before Thanksgiving and I need to get the site out there. Any ideas or tips on how I can promote? Also, im using adsense alone right now. Would you recommend any other advertising programs that might be right for my site? This is the first site I have developed so im learning as I go. I appreciate any help from you guys!

Where is the traffic currently coming from. Those links on blogs or search traffic.
You should be able to see where that traffic is coming from.
If its coming from search terms you might want to tweak some backlinks (forum sigs one way) to generate a higher SERP ranking but that will take time to show up. You should use Google's Adwords KeyWord Tool to see how many searches are being performed per month per phrase. That start a long term SERP program.
Or you could just buy some traffic if you know how well your visitors convert.

Thanks for the reply thebutler. Right now my traffic is 69.6 referral sites and a growing 2.47% organic. Im not sure what you would call it but there are quite a few search phrases that bring up not my site but a blog comment linking directly to my site on the 1st page of google. I get a lot of traffic from those. Im starting to get a bit of traffic from search terms directly realted to myspace's use of css. For example, searches like "div.module myspace 2.0" or "transparent header myspace 2.0." Maybe I should put together some tutorials on css for myspace. Im getting on average a 100 uniques a day and it seems to be climbing. Thanksgiving will be here in a little over a week. After that, this site will be null until next year. Although, I do plan to keep it going and work on SERP for next year. I dont think buying traffic would work so well. I would almost surely lose money. Maybe not though... maybe im missing something. I guess I need to keep doing what ive been doing but I really need something to push it to the next level quickly.

I just realized im ranking on the 1st page of google for the some off the css related phrases i mentioned. How can I utilize this?
