reason for selling: His wife was running the site while pregnant. Once she gave birth, she wanted to be able to devote all her time to the newborn and their other child.

(Remember, the entire bussiness consists of forwarding orders to the supplier. They had no expertise in PPC, so someone with a little knowledge should be able to really work it.)

HostBidder - they (the drop shipper) were shipping to 48 states for the most part, but they do International orders (PR, canada, anywhere - it just costs more). The East Coast (NYC especially) and in the summer FL will buy alot of the gatorade powder, or Sqwincher which is a competitor. A lot of fire depts buy it too.

********TODAY THERE WAS A $250 PURCHASE OF 2 CASES OF SQWINCHER**************
http://www.castlesafety.com/prcl.html
After shipping there was a TOTAL PROFIT OF $110.00. This was a repeat buyer from last year. For the summer, that Sqwincher stuff sells like crazy.

Ok, I've recieved several PM's and I will try to answer all the questions in on shot:

-It is a Yahoo Starter site. It costs about $39 a month for the site. Customers do not need a Yahoo account to purchase anything on the site.

-The site has been in business for approx. 16 months.

-At its peak, it took a total of 1 hr to operate. That includes PPC and forwarding all the orders to the drop shipper. You could actually do it in less time if you had an auto foward to the drop-shipper set up in your email.

-The drop shipper info will remain confidential until the sale. But it is a US based company with 22 locations. This keeps shipping costs low. The owner decided to offer free shipping (you're not required to do so) and just added it to the mark-up of the product. People seemed to buy more when you offered "free" shipping. Even if the product price was a little more than on another site. You are buying DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER. There are NO MINIMUMS. So, if you buy one smoke alarm, it cost you the same that Home Depot buys them for even though they buy thousands at a time.

-Reason for sale: The site was run by the owners wife. She was a pregnant stay at home mom with a one child already. Once she gave birth, they pretty much stopped working the site so she could raise the baby and the other little kid. He has a real, full time job (I'm his boss).

-They have absolutley no idea about PPC managmenet. They would spend $300 per month total on Yahoo and Google (total not each). And pretty much didn't manage it at all. When it ran out, it ran out.

-I have attached his adwords stats for the last little while (the account is paused since he isn't working it). He can't remember his Overture passwords, but he's trying to get them.

-I have attached his business bank statements. Any over-seas transations are not shown, and he did sell a few thousand dollars of fire alarms to a London hotel.

-Not much natural traffic.

-The sale also includes the LLC of North Carolina business registration.

I don't know why they wouldn't load. It's just a Word doc. I have no idea how to convert that into a jpeg. If someone posts how to do it, I'll give it a shot.
