After doing all the instructions there is -
I'm pointing my browser (like I'm asked to) to /install.php
Then, immediately, I'm getting this message:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=MyISAM' at line 5 admin create at line 34

What might be the probelm?!

Change TYPE=MyISAM -> ENGINE=MyISAM

Your script is probably somewhat old - get a new version.

Sorry for the n00bish question... where do I change it in?

Everywhere :)

Use SED or awk.

Its basically wherever your script is creating / altering tables. That may be in code or in config files...

Found it 8 times in Install.php
I'll try changing it over there and run it...

UPDATE: it sure did work!

First of all, thank you!! I mean it!!

The thing is, I'm getting another problem after that -

When going to the "setup" dir, to log with the admin user/pass,

EVERY user/pass I'm putting - lets me in! (like "nothing/nothing")!!

It sure drives me nuts...
