status-resolved Problem Accessing NamePros on Firefox Browser

Since Yesterday i m facing problem accessing namepros.com on firefox though site is accessible on chrome browser

see attached image ....its showing untrusted connection error...

anyone else in india facing this problem.....??

What does it say under "Technical Details"?

Does it work if you go to www.namepros.com instead of namepros.com?

Technical Details
namepros.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it was signed using a signature algorithm that was disabled because that algorithm is not secure. (Error code: sec_error_cert_signature_algorithm_disabled)

i tried using www. and with http:// only...no S...
cleared namepros cookies and tried ....still not accessible in firefox

In Chrome:

1. Navigate to namepros.com
2. Click the green lock icon in the address bar to the left of the URL
3. Switch to the Connection tab in the popup that appears
4. Click the Certificate Information link
5. Take a screenshot of the dialog that appears and attach it here

my avast antivirus web/mail shield was on.......
when i turned it off ....to check ....if that is causing problem...
i was able to access site in firefox...

Your antivirus software is attempting to intercept communications between NamePros and your browser. However, when it re-encrypts the information it retrieves, it uses an insecure encryption configuration that Firefox no longer allows. Chrome will soon be disallowing it as well. I don't know the specifics of how Avast works, but I do know that the method it's using here is quite controversial, and I would not personally trust my personal information with such software.

There isn't anything NamePros can do about this. You will need to either contact Avast or switch antivirus suites.
