The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Never heard of any, I registered taxrefund.pro and creditscore.pro a while ago, but I knew at the time any chance of getting anything back from them was a long shot. I think the problem is the questionable methods Circa is using to get around the .pro restrictions and whether or not ICANN will do something about it one day (or some of the lawyers that paid for their exclusive .pro name only to find it opened up to "those evil cyber squatters" - ie, us - a few months later).

I believe the name of the TLD (pro) is extremely good and the prices of the domains are way down from their real value

Can you imagine for example a domain "travel.TLD" to be sold at $3900 only ?

There are two reasons according to my opinion for these prices :
1. The registry owners selected to follow a strange marketing path, having also restrictions for professionals only, that didn't help the registry from the start

2. As i said for 360 suffix domains the same happens for .pro domains too. The value of the domains is increased if the domain suffix / TLD awareness is boosted from live sites of respected companies

The game of domains/suffixes or TLDs is more or less summarized to this :

"If this multi million company selected this 360 suffix domains / .pro domain then i want one for my company"

Interesting

I haven't been aware of the .PRO marketplace. Seems like a very viable extension. Can you mentions the policy on registration and the "loopholes" you are talking about, with ICANN's possible action?

I'd love to take a look at registering some names.

Is http://www.encirca.biz/ the OFFICIAL registrar, a reseller, or?

Thanks all!

Sex.pro worth much more than 2000$ .. It's good investment for the future...

Some people pay $2000 for a real sex.pro, not THE sex.pro - definitely worth much, much more. Also it's rare because it's the only known 3-letter .pro domain I think?? But what do I know? I still think travel.pro was a bargain at $3900.
