Private registration / hidden Whois

I want to register domains with private registration (aka hidden whois). Any suggestions?

AND I WANT EVERYTHING HIDDEN, not everything except my first/last/company name... I want total privacy.

...

Here's what I know:

GoDaddy offers it for free, but only for the first year, then it's almost as expensive as the domain name itself.

DomainSite offers it for only $0.50/year, awesome, but they used to NOT hide you and your company's name, even though via email they now said they do, even though their website still shows otherwise: http://www.domainsite.com/web_enhancement/hidden_whois.php

"Our Hidden Whois service will hide all registrar whois information for your domain name except for your first, last, and company name."

Anyone have an example of DomainSite hidden whois for me?

netfirms.com offers free privacy with domains, and you can get a dotcom for as little as $4.95...

Netfirms.com limits domains for $5.95 to 5 per customer... Just checked their website... Sad because I want to purchase like 20-25 domains tonight...

Its enough of a pain to manage seperate accounts when you deal with multiple registrars let alone having to have multiple accounts with one registrar lol... I'll just use GoDaddy.

I need to register 20+ domains, so netfirms is out for me.

Anyone have a domain registered at name.com so I can check out just how private their private whois is? :P

name.com appears to be affliated with domainsite.com

No problems so far. They have a very fast and easy to use management panel.

When you bulk register 6 or more names at GoDaddy, you get free private registration.

Name.com is the best for you want.

I agree. GD offers free private whois for a year. Netfirms offers free private whois but require you to create separate account for each domain you register making it hard to manage them. Name.com provides free private whois for an unlimited time period at an affordable rate. So I think they are the best choice here. imo

Awesome... thanks a bunch everyone! name.com it is... i didn't like godaddy because the free registration (afaik) is only availabe for the first registration, in other words when you renew it is no longer free.
