Private ISP company?

Myself and a few others are looking at setting up a ISP company... Anyone have much in sight into this? implications involved? revenue return? investment costs? any info from personal experiences or anything like this, would be much appreciated.

I have seen people entering internet service providing business and then, sooner or later, they need to quit. Nowadays, internet speeds are increasing day by day. Big companies are using fiber optic cable. Individuals cannot compete against big companies.

My advice is to go for some other business.
