Hi there,

I'm looking for a company in Scotland to supply an internet line which will allow me to start hosting from my own small business.

I have experience setting up servers, and general maintenance, however I have never looked into getting a service provider for dedicated web hosting before, so any help on what to look out for would be much appreciated.

The chances are that renting a line with the bandwidth you'd need to host a public site will be quite expensive. Unless you've got a good reason for wanting to host in-house you'd probably be better off renting a VPS or server at a reputable hosting company.
