I launched a (dot)US website that has a very generic domain name. There is already a (dot) com with the same name selling the same service. For augments sake, let’s say the domain names are Printing.us and Printing.com. We both provide the same service, printing, but the websites look nothing alike.
Printing.com is registered, operated and hosted in a Europe by a European company, their pricing is even in Euros. Printing.com business model is to service the world printing needs.
Printing.us is registered, owned, operated in the United States. Our model is only to service the US market.
Would Google and Yahoo’s see this as a conflict, and in someway affect the organic search results for Printing.us?
Puzzled,
Blastoff
Side note: Live.com has us ranked #2 for results, but we are almost no where to be found on Yahoo and Google.
