I'm getting ready to launch www.code.sc (code source - like whois source [www.whois.sc]).

Please give me your review of the forums, etc, and if you see anything you do (not) like let me know. Also if you feel it lacks something let me know please.

We aren't officially open yet but the look is pretty much at it's final stage.

Hardly seems modified at all... it's still pretty standard-looking.
-I voted 'a little better than average', though, due to the individual graphics for each forum section on the main page.

Actually youve seen a similar one for phpBB this one is custom made for vB based on that one!

looks clean and nice. I second RTM. However, is it me or do all board sites start to look alike

Might want to dabble with the look and feel to jazz it up a little while still keeping the simplicity. I also find that most boards want to cover the moon and the sun and what's in between in topics. Making the board a mile long to navigate at the first level.

try adding some snips such as weather, local news feeds in the top headers - just to differentiate it from others. Also maybe displace the login to the right. Would also change the font of the logo (unless its copyrighted as part of the logo). Best part i think is the icons! These are fab and make your board very lively.

They are nice but I don't like it because there is so many.
