Web Hosting Site Review -Please

I have a web hosting website http://www.asmarterhost.com can people please review this and let me know what they think about it. The feed back will be helpful.

I have discovered that the site is, in fact, a template. A lot of people on this board know my feelings on templates and I am not particularly keen on them. In my opinion, they show unprofessionalism and, for this reason, I will not vote on the poll as there are no options that suit my opinion.

He never said it wasn't a template, he was asking for reviews on his site and not stupid comments. If you want to share that this is a template you can say it politly as I feel you are allways out to get people.

Back on topic, I think this is a very professional. Some cool flash effect on the monitor and the colors look professional and give it a nice feel. It's got a nice color mix, at first i felt there were to many, but after a while it felt nicer.

Well I have a similar feeling to that of Will's - I'm not big on templates but I have considered using them and they always look great. That being said, the site looks good as it is. The blinking logo up in the left hand top corner is a bit distracting at first but it stops.

The overall negative is the lack of uniqueness but other than that it looks good to me.

The thing i don't get is your site is called Asmarterhost but on the logo it says POWER HOSTING and it also says "PowerHosting © 2003" on the bottom left. Maybe you should fix that A bit misleading :D ..

And that's about all there is to say. And I vote that there's nothing wrong with Will7's comment about this being a template; asmarterhost posted this thread without disclosing that fact and presented the template as if it was his own work.

He never said it was his own work either and I'm just pointing out that he can mention this polity and not fill it in with sarcams or a stupid comment. I never said it was wrong of Will to let us know it was a template as I didn't know it from before, but the way he is sharing the infomation is not the way he should IMHO.

its a nice site, although you should have told us it was a template. I don't particularly like the slogan "host with us". It is like an order. You might want to change it, if you can.

I don't hate templates, but I don't think that people should try and pass them on as their own design.

I dont agree with templates, BUT i will vote. Theres no design or proffesionalism involved. Its a nice looking site but it isnt your own work.

Imagine a car dealer asking for credit on the design of a car, it wouldnt work would it.

Again it is a nice template and nice looking site. I wish you well.

if you have a hosting site, you have to change the template in some way! :imho:

:blink: otherwise people will say "i've seen that before" and not trust you. Or think that you are another person in a chain of sites!
