Power of LLL.in domains

I think a lot of people are overlooking the value of LLL.in domains with "low quality" letters. I am a big investor of .in's and I have about 100 right now. Some of my best performing .ins making over 5 dollars a day parking are 3 letter domains with the letter Q. It might not be heavily used in America, but in India, it is a different story. I selected all of my lll.in domains by running the frequency using only google india, and google's adword keyword program using India as the default country.Don't focus on what is valuable only in the states. You are buying an INDIA domain. Focus on the value in India. I even passed up some LLL.in domains with Q in them for other "premium" names that I am now regretting when I look at my parking performance for the "low quality" lll.in's I got. Just my 2 cents.

And as an overall note, anyone who is doubting the power of .in's is going to regret it. India is the second largest country in the world, with over 1.2 billion people, and has more english speaking citizens than the UK. And those numbers are growing daily. It is also the most heavily invested country for American foreign business investments... So you guys do the math.

This is a great tip and I got in on the LLL.in wave too late really. I grabbed a couple CVV and CCV ones that are prounanacle and have some results in the .co.in Google search.

I also think that people are not understanding the potential value of the names. I am grabbing huge one word dictionary names like it is nothing it it, ones with over 10,000-50,000 in overture. India is such a large english speaking country, that it really needs to be invested in. Also, $4 a pop means turning a profit is so much easier. Sell for $10 and you more than doubled your money. Sorry about ranting on, but I just think this will be a great extension.

Can someone give some examples of why Q is a popular letter in India - what kind of words, etc. For LLL.in, is it better to have Q in the first, second or third position, or does it matter?

not sure about this whole q being good in india thing. just did a scan and am showing only 1307 lll.in left - many/most with q.

yeah, had to take it back - don't see any obvious holes in my scan, but must have had some issue.

LLL.in is kinda creaping right now. If i had the money i would go reg 500 of them right now and try to get some things going. Anyways its prolly better to ease into the sell out rather than just have it go like .mobi did.

registrations seem to have leveled out - probably due in no small part over the question of what the renewal rates will end up being.

we'll have to wait and see what the impact of the promo pricing extension will be.

COuld also be that people are more reluctant to reg alot of non-premium letter LLL.in, which is most of whats left

Keep in mind, many of these names will get traffic, they only have to make about $.50 cents per month to pay for themselves.

all this thread seems a post to bring newbies to buy crappy LLL.in......come on the thread starter just got here...where are the proofs of such revenue otherwise?

I got with the hype and regged some good ones when they were still available.

In my opinion they won't be worth much for a long while...

Well I'm selling one I don't want to develop for around $300.

When I bought it there were no other offers...

Most prices will go up but the ones that are pronounceable and all premium are already worth three figures.

Hello mwzd,

since you are from India, do you know/see if the locals are starting to prefer .in versus .co.in ?

Thanks
