Power Metal Fans. PowerMetal.mobi

I am in the process of developing www.PowerMetal.mobi and would like to know what you cats think about it.

I want it to basically be a resource and discussion forum for lovers of Metal and the Power Metal genre.

There is still work needed to be done and as I add more content I will be rearranging the site. But what I have up now is a good indicator of what the overall look of the network will be like.

Looks good so far, could still use some more visual references to Metal. The whole tattoo, barbed wire, megadeath, metallica, rob zombie (i know, they're all too mainstream for your site) thing comes to mind. Compared to many things in the "scene", your site looks actually too civilized.
Also, you're one of the few that actually thought about a FavIcon, unfortunately, you forgot a general logo
I'm sure you're working on that, though.
Great implementation of the audio players, one video player wouldn't hurt though.

Overall, pretty good start, keep on developing and match it more with your user group.

I put up an Audio and Video player now which are looking pretty cool.

You're right, I am working on the icon. I am having someone develop it for me at the moment.

I'm glad you noticed the FavIcon. I think it stands out a little better when someone bookmarks the page.
