Why did'nt the op follow his own posted rule of bids up to 48 hrs. after
the last bid? It has only been one day since this was posted for sale.

Indeed something smells rotten. I'll withhold judgement on the two posters until more facts come in. There was no BIN - or even a hint of one.

heres what happend: i made a bid in this thread and sometime after i got a PM message saying send payment... so i sent payment.


checked back in this thread and in place of my bid i edited with the word: <mine>

then some mod deleted it....

There are no under the table deals allowed here - This isn't ebay ... Reserves are not allowed and there was no BIN mentioned - Which means it was an ongoing auction at the point you "Bought" it out from under everyone.

Both of you are very close to a Bad business warning and the OP is close to getting a Bad TR from the highest bidder IMO.

it definitely was not 48 hours.. but this is up to the seller to keep track of... not my fault.. i did not PM the seller asking him to cut the auction short and sell to me.. i didnt even notice the 48 hour thing until i came back to this thread and did my edit, which by then it was already in my account.

It sounds like a genuine misunderstanding on your part.

The op should make a better effort to follow the rules that he
sets forth at the beginning of the sales thread!

I didn't think anyone would bid higher, so I pm'd him saying 'I doubt someone will bid higher than 50, so if you want to paypal me now ahead of time, I'll just go ahead and transfer it instead of waiting out the whole 48hours'. I didn't think anyone would outbid 50 because I had it listed at 15 in the fixed price section for the longest time. My mistake.
