Need your help in establishing a reasonable price for postmodern.net.
Offering Web and IT services, I've owned the domain for 15+ years and it has served me well. As I'm basically a one-man show, for the last few years I've been doing business under my own name and have decided to sell the domain.
When I registered it, I could not believe my luck. It was the name I wanted, had a dot net extension and was delighted. Any of you guys remember the nineties, pre-Matrix, when William Gibson was ubercool? First few years, I actually had a few unsollicited [serious] offers for it that I passed on.
For a tech or design business, I felt it was a great name. Today, wanting to add the "Premium Domain Name" feature at my registrar, I've registered with Afternic and set the "Buy Now", "Floor" and "Minimum" Prices. "Buy Now" currently listed at $9300USD.
Back in those pre-Matrix days, that price wouldn't have been outlandish. But we live in different times
Valuate.com and Estibot.com both give me a value at around $1800USD.
As of now, the domain is parked and does not generate revenue.
Any pricing suggestions for a reasonably quick turnaround? ("Buy Now" and "Floor" prices)
