Post your domains on DomainLiquidate for FREE

We have created a free domain listing service in conjunction with Twitter. It is a centralized feed to post domains you want to liquidate. We've created this feed as a result of seeing repeated complaints from domain investors on Twitter where people post their domains for sale in their feeds without being invited to do so.

With a centralized feed, both sellers and buyers have a place to go to at any time to either post domains or browse to see what is available at a bargain. This is a safe place to post domains in a centralized social media feed without having to go to individual accounts and possibly ticking people off.

We hope this will be a vibrant venue utilizing the power of social media to help you liquidate your domains.

You've partly addressed it but I am not totally convinced of social media lists over a thread here.

Why not both? You are limited to how many sales threads you can have but you have other domains you want to liquidate.

You can also link to your sales threads on NP. It's all in the marketing.

I just want to clarify. Our services, including DomainLiquidate, are not in competition with NP or other popular marketplaces. Our services are built in order to level and increase the playing field (ie marketing options and presentation). Hope that makes sense.

To clarify or summarize:
  • DomainLiquidate allows you to post, at the moment, up to 5 domains at reseller pricing per day.
  • You can include a link to your portfolio, spreadsheet, NP thread, etc. where you have other domains for sale.
  • You can use hashtags to increase exposure.
  • Having a centralized Twitter feed for domain sales increases opportunities to promote domains to potential buyers and increase lead generation.
  • As the feed grows, we will be promoting it using the resources available to us.
  • Since we officially launched yesterday, the service will continue to grow and evolve.
DomainLiquidate is a complement to our flagship offerings and our goal is to keep it free. Itโ€™s not a be-all end-all solution but another tool you can add to your domain marketing toolbox thatโ€™s free and easy to use.

If you are able to discourage that practice, it will be an amazing step towards domainers using Twitter responsibly. Nothing is more irritating that someone trying to get exposure for a domain name without particular significance, and without relevance to any discussion, posting a promotional Tweet and adding various domain Twitter people to the thread.

I hope you are successful in discouraging this with a new option, but I am sceptical that it will change, In fact, it is even possible they will feel more encouraged to do it if your service is successful.

Do you have a policy on reposting the same name? As well as the 5 (or even less I would encourage) per person, I would not allow someone to submit the same name twice within some time period. I think seeing freshly available, quality names at reasonable prices is what will make your service a success.

As I said before, best wishes for your venture. Look forward to seeing how it evolves. I am glad that you are open to making changes as time goes on.

hi this is nice idea
that many here are familiar with

i would love to see some of yours stats. now that youve been running and selling for a while.
there must be 100s of sold names.. at varying prices.

would you be so very kind and make the # sold names available here... as well as out of how many total names (or sold vs unsold).... as well as the prices they sold at... no names needed of course. :)

this will help people decide what to expect in terms of prices.. and success rates. ty. :)

You are probably right. The goal of the service is not to discourage behavior that is clearly counterproductive. But that was the impetus. If it does discourage it then that is a bonus.

We will be updating the rules to state that you can repost names once per month. So if you post a name in April, you can't repost until May.

But if people are reposting constantly the same names month to month then we will update the rules accordingly.

The service just opened yesterday. At the moment we have no way to track sales on DomainLiquidate because it is on 3rd party social platform and only a way to promote your domains. Sales take place between the seller and buyer. We are not involved in the process. We are giving you a free billboard, so to speak.

Completely understood ;). DomainLiquidate is very distinct from Epik's offering. It is a free value-added service to domainers, leveraging Twitter to promote your domains. We are always looking at solutions to help domainers properly market their domains.
