Possibly earn 50 NP$ - Need header graphic and/or logo

Hey guys,
I need something that looks good to replace what I've got at www.huntsources.com. No matter what I come up with, I just can't seem to be satisfied, and I'm coming to the conclusion that I'd make a better programmer and technical guy than a designer.

Anyway, take a look at the site, content, layout, etc... and lets see what ya got. I'll take the best/my favorite one, in a few days from now.

I'm not too fond of the idea of making a total design overhaul, but if you have a better idea/suggestion, that's welcome too.

Don't forget to watermark your stuff.

1 thing I DON'T want: Plain text on a plain background. Even a solid color is something I won't accept. I want something catchy, but not too busy if you know what I mean. Match it with the current site. Check the html for hex codes.

hey fried_chicken, thanks for the response and for giving it a go! I appreciate it!

I think the colors are too bright for the current site, and I don't think they would match it well. I'd also like the slogan in there somewhere too.

I think what I'm trying to do is reduce the amount of colors I currently have on the site, rather than add more colors. Already, minus the current header I have 4 different colors.

I'm not sure if a "view" like that is ideal either. I think the trees look a bit stretched, and I don't think the sky is something worth focusing on - not in your graphic, but in general (Don't get me wrong).

hi David,

thought i'd just kick start the thread really, only took me about 10 mins to do.

the reason i made it brighter was because your site seemed to be dark. the reason i choose that view was to give sense the angle of the prey and a bit of action.

But it is your site and your comp!.

THESE ARE ONLY MY OPINIONS

I hope this thread takes off for you and you get plenty more response.

Mammoth - thanks for giving it a go. I don't like the font, and I don't want it that small either, or in that location. This is an interesting graphic, but I don't think it would work well. It just looks too busy, I think, with the effect you used. I don't think I'm a fan of those colors either - especially with the rest of the current site.

o.O The colours match your site! LOL thats why i did it that colour. If you would prefer it in a different colour or whatever then just say lol. And i personally think the graphic is only as busy as the current one.
