If the buyer is a 'end user' I would price ExtremeArtists.com high $###. If you own ExtremeArt.com & ExtremeArtist.com. You could set the price even higher :imho:

As far as the extension issue is concerned, doesn't the extension really represent only part of the equation?
I mean, I'm not looking for much type-in traffic for these domains, but they have incredibly high searches on them, for the exact phrase. It won't matter all that much in terms of revenue and traffic if the extension isn't .com, will it?
Essentially, does a .com get better ranking over .info or .org or .net?

Once developed either the .com .info .org can rank top in google, yahoo,etc..
but .com is always king and will dominate valuewise. If people hear a name they will often try .com first.

The extension can and does play a huge part in the value of a domain name.

Hollyroller is right. For a non .com to beat out a .com (name against name) the site would have have great SEO.

These domains still have value though.
