Hello

Guys need your valuable advice on following issue.

I am looking to finalise a domain purchase (Credit experts dot co uk) but it's singular version (Creditexpert) has a registered trademark in U.K & from what i read a trademark filed in singular will protect the plural version and the other way around.

So it's pretty much a lost cause pursuing it, isn't it ?

thanks in advance

i think so... but creditexpert is generic word i.e very common word
how one can register trademark that word

i think buying such domain might cause some problem

i don't like that just one person register one name and no one has right to use that name.

I think it's something to do with experian a uk credit reference and or credit check agency

Ironic that you say that the plural protects singular and the other way round etc as I know of a domain in the singular that is owned by a lawyer in one uk cctld and the plural of the same area of legal speciality in the other uk cctld is owned by another lawyer which would mean either it's OK and or hasn't been checked and obviously I own a different variation of the domain but there are 4 versions 3 are taken and mine is the only one that could be available subject to price lol

But suffice to say if two different lawyers own singular and plural of same domain it must be OK as they would know you'd have thought

You want valuable advice? Ok then - when you bid in an auction and win, honour the agreement and pay for the domain. It's too late running around asking questions after the deal is done - do your due diligence BEFORE you place a bid.

You weren't finalising any purchase, you won the domain in auction and then got cold feet and didn't pay. Very poor show mate.

Coldtrigger i made it very clear that if it's not trademark affected i'll definitely honour it & only asked for a day to clear it up. What is wrong in that ?
The domain is now a property of another domainer so it's none of my concern now & probability i have no right to talk about it any more aswell.
