domain Portfolio Appraisal, total newbie! - VerveMoney.com

[Nova_Ruby]

Hey all, I'm new to all this and over the past few weeks have handregged a fair few domains. I've stuck mainly with .com - no hyphens, no numbers, dictionary words or potential brandables. Looked for names which include popular keywords too.

I'd be really appreciative if somebody could take a look over my list and give me any thoughts on whether I'm thinking along the right lines here.

Do any of these names have potential? Any in particular you think are strong?

Very open to constructive criticism - I'm only just getting started so appreciate I might have been a bit hasty with some of these but it's a learning curve for sure.

Same mistake as other newbies (and some old timer too) made. Putting 2 words together which make no sense at all.

Thanks John, that definitely applies to a fair few of them. I do think there are some in that make sense, though. And some of those that don't could potentially be brandable. Any diamonds you might have spotted in the rough?

You can do it yourself too. Just break them up and read to see if it makes senses.

ShopMeatFree was shopping for meat-free products, ie for vegetarians and vegans.

A lot of the 2-word ones should probably be in the brandable section

I find that response strange - not all websites are for reference only. It could literally be for a online shop that sells meat-free products, for which there is a huge market at the moment.

Also, people use websites to find out pretty much everything these days.

I have found prejudice often towards hand-reg - if you didn't mention that plus you were a newbie, you may have had a better response. But, "nice portfolio," is pretty good. And it didnt seem like John wanted to say anthing encoraging, so no use trying to convert the uconvertable. I am far from expert (and have stubbornly held on to some clunkers people advised me not to, that I eventually let go ...) but I thought you had a number of nice ones - CBDtoys.com, AmigoDates.com, QueerLines.com (lots of potential!) Inkkids.com, GeekBingo.com, Blockable.co. Good luck - they're a lot better than some of my early hand regs that were clever with little potential (I guess).

Hi as everyone says read more learn more . I just dropped about 80 what I thought were genius hand regs not. Don't give up if you enjoy the process try Nameliquidate you can pick up some aged names that the brandable sites have picked up in my case for a small outlay.Have fun good luck Cheers Tracey .ps no apprasial given as asked for sorry my experience does not qualify me to give one imo.
