Portable hard drives question

this may be a dumb question but....can i have a portable hard drive connected to 2 comps and access what on it by either comp? :td:

DOnt think its Possible.. all Portable HDs have a one link to a PC.. Unless u set up a file sharing network over a router and u can locally take stuff from all the computers

I'd imagine you could just get a hub and plug it into the portable HD. And then from there plug the computers into the hub which is connected to the portable HD.
