I kinda like it. Whether it's for popular open source projects or popular operating system stuff - it's a breakout term according to Google Insight, and depending on the logo and the way you write/say it, kinda catchy. Popularos, or popularOS

I've got a few ideas for minisite directions but would love any comments, thanks.
