im into mainly exteme metal myself (Deicide, Burzum, Emperor, Bolt Thrower etc) however I do like some early U2 old Metallica etc as well.

Well that's one way of putting it yes

Don't assume that all extreme metal is the same however, that is 1 fatal mistake people make, they also assume that it is just out and out noise. I have converted alot of people at my work into fans of some of the bands I listen 2.
