Pop up help

hey guys, latly i've been spammed with pop ups every time my browser goes somewhere boom a pop up and gee iys annoying. its not even one its serveral. i have sp2 with the pop blocker set high but that doesnt stop them. i also have spybot and adware its finds some stuff i delete it but i still get them.

any one know how to stop them?

Hey,

If you run the spyware remove programs again and again, does it find new ones every time?

Also, maybe you have a toolbar installed that is causing this? This happened to me once, right click on your toolbar above and see if there is something that shouldn't be there. Also, look in Add/Remove programs and see if there is something installed that doesnt look like its suppose to be there.

yu[, download/update/run spybot sd and adaware. both free, both easy, both effective.
Microsoft also has a free spyware killer on their site now called Giant you can check out.

You have to run ad-aware and spybot in safe mode, or you can't get rid of them. Otherwise they will just resurface when you boot back up. Also pay attention to the directories they are in as you may have to also manually delete some in safe mode as well. Be warned though that some programs may no longer function if they were using that particular spycode...I just had a run in with a busload of them that took over my system, but I was able to get rid of them...

uhh...safemode only if its in the reg keys...even then, only 1/10 require that..but good advice
