Good Show! This sale seemed to exceed many of our expectations.

We have come a long way since 2010 :)

Thank you A.

Well it exceeded some expectations because people are not seeing much of a domainer to domainer market. I really thought the name years ago was worth a lot more. It was originally a $10,000 a year premium domain. Namepros member Heroes had it for a few years, so Verisign has made their money off the domain.

I believe it is worth a great deal more too, but that is the nature of domain name auctions as well as many other types of auctions. Extremely classic cars and fine art seem to often garner top prices at auction but not domain names. There are rare exceptions, but typically, you will do far better through extended negotiations.

Still, in consideration of many factors, including the late summer holidays here in the U.S., I feel that $5,400 was a good price in this venue. And now, with cash in hand, the seller has an opportunity to parlay some of those gains into another great domain name.

I would not be surprised at all if Pop.tv sells for a great deal more in the future.

Is it possible to list names for sale on Namejet>

Yes Jimmy Ray if you have a relationship or a big portfolio. You cannot contact them and just say I want to sell my domains on there they are very particular who they allow to sell. The domains usually have to be of good quality.

Claude I think Pop.tv was expired so no money for seller.

The buyer was Jon from BlueString Ventures.
