Was interested what everybody is using to catch their expired names and why. I'm looking at potentially using a desktop application and am courious if they even work...

How do you catch your names:
1. The expensive route Pool / Snapnames / Namewinner
2. The meduim expensive Enom Clubdrop / GoDaddy
3. Desktop Application
4. Other application or website
5. Don't drop catch names

Not sure why the poll option didn't post after I filled it out.... Admin, can it be added?

Number one for me, it's the most reliable method :)

I think you will only “catch” names with something like pool or from one of the registrars who (illegally) auction them off. Anything you “catch” with your own software isn't actually a catch, it's picking up something no one using those services wanted.

If i want to drop catch a name, i always go for the expensive route (1), as i only drop catch if its a name i REALLY want...
