Hello,

I'm new to this forum, and to the "domain business" in general. I've just purchased a few domain names to see what happens. I'd like to sell the domain name (or develop a website and sell later), or to earn on domain parking.

I've seen there are many experienced people here and I would appreciate if you helped to roughly estimate the value of these domain names (they are all new, just registered):

1) PolandNow.info

Potential markets: travel and tourism, hospitality, education, technology

2) ChinaNow.info

Potential markets: travel and tourism, hospitality, education, technology

3) Chilihood.com

Potential markets: restaurants, food blogs, spices

4) GreenGuru.online

Potential markets: natural health experts or online shops, "green" businesses, organic food online shops, eco-related blogs, eco- eduction

5) EcoDeco.online

Potential markets: eco- home decor, art

6) Mavens.online

Potential markets: online experts, communities, etc.

GreenGuru, EcoDeco and Mavens are an active trademarks.
Its important to learn something about trademarks before you invest money in domains !

Also, stick to .COM ONLY, before you gain some experience.

PolandNow.info and ChinaNow.info
- I saw these type of domains in GoDaddy suggestions, so I assume its reg fee (no value)

ChiliHood is not so bad, but dont except too much from it.


Before you register any new domain, read as much as you can here at namePros !

Thanks for the feedback! I should have got here first before I made any purchase... I discovered this forum just too late.

So, regarding these active trademarks - what would you suggest to do now with these domain names? Just remove them from any listings (I already put them on park domain service) and let them expire?

Its never too late! And dont worry, we all make mistakes!

Yes, remove them from any listings and dont use them for any other purpose.

If you want to delete them, you can ask the registrar you registered the domain for a grace delete so you can get your funds back.
In this case, you better consult registrar for more informations.

Instead of going after a bunch of domains in random TLD's such as .online you might want to invest in a few good domains in TLD's that receive interest, e.g. .com, .net, org, .io, .tv etc. Here at NamePros and other domain sites, you will be able to pick up decent domains in the $XX - XXX range. Spending $100 on a single domain instead of registering 10 .info domains is often a better solution.
