IMO poker domain names and .net extension are a good match as they are widely used. PokerAvenue/./net is brandable, there's no real site on the .com and it rolls off the tongue nicely. This one ranks #1 out of 5.8 million in google for poker avenue and #1 also with quotes for exact search.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Poker Avenue would a good name for a poker gaming site. Its real value is in its development, I think. A reseller may not pay much for it but an end user will certainly pay some handsome amount. In order to convince an end user, the name requires to be developed. For the fact that .com is not developed yet, you are in an advantaged position.

Thanks Jawed, rep added. I do think development is in order for this domain, there is a lander right now which has helped me attain nice se results, no affiliate sign ups have been documented yet though.
