domain Poker Typos

Since there is a lot of talk about poker names and typos lately, I decided to try a few. I actually regged 2 of them before I read Danielr's post. But after reading his post, I thought i would try a couple more.

Overture has a rating of 357,629 for "poker game", so I went from there.

I regged PokrrGame(s).com and PokeeGame(s).com.... 4 doamains in all (single and plural)
The E & R are right beside each other on the keyboard, so I figured I may get some typo's this way.

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't rush to reg any more until you verify your strategy works.

After you get them parked, could you let us know if they get decent traffic.

I've tried regging a few "e/r" typos and some other frequenty made typing mistakes and none of them did very well. These were on reasonably high OVT+ext domains too. But if they're poker domains, you only need a few clicks to break even, so it's worth the five bucks per shot.

I listen to the radio a lot and if you do also, listen to the advertisements and if they mention a web site. Some of my best typos have come from hearing ads on the radio. Last week I heard a poker site being advertised on the radio. It was spelled one way, but the way the site was pronounced made it sound like it should be spelled a different way. So I regged it and to my astonishment, it got about 30 hits and 15 clicks in the first 24 hours!

BINGO! That's probably the best way to do it. Advertisements listing URL's on the radio or on TV are the way to go because you know the user had to remember it, and then go type it in the browser address window.

poker typos can be good imo, I have ntepoker.com and netpkoer.com andthey both collectively got over 60 uniques today! pure type-ins....imagine when they start to market the 80k domain....I think they might each get a few HUNDRED a day..

I too got in on the fun, but I tried the poler route, only because I kept typing poler when I tried to type poker for about a week. I thought it would bring in amazing amounts of traffic, but they only get a few hits every other day.

With the "rr" and "ee" I don't think you have much chance of typos, but I may be wrong. I usually don't have trouble typing the same letter twice, but maybe come people have really fat fingers and just don't pay attention.
