Is this the .Pitcairn Islands (or .Pakistan) extension, for quick clarification?
Thanks, kindly.

Hold on to them, it is difficult to predict value right now,
But with proper marketing they can bring many times the initilal investment!

poker.poker? I dom't like it, but I would prefer play.pk like play.poker
Anyway, pk doesn't mean poker as .ws doens't mean Website as .tv does't mean Television
I woul say Reg Fee for now!
Good Luck!

Advertise your .pk names at www.spider.tm you will surely find dozens of buyers, in the resale market here, you are unlikely to get anything, i am waiting what sufi appraises!

Hi there,

You know that nobody can appraise them right as .pk just opened and many people do not know what .pk means at all.

Folks, .pk for Pakistan. While I support .tv for television (when I say tv, does it ring that it could be a television even at some where in the minds of general public, I tested it btw.) I do not support .ws for website or .cc for credit cards or consumer credit. Please do not invent new meanings like .pk for poker (how could you think about it at all). While .ws and .cc may not fight if you change the meaning, I believe .pk does oppose to be named as .poker.

So hold onto them and see how .pk evolve. If you want a price for right now, of course reg fee.

Thanks,

Gamehouse

Pakistan (Pitcairn = .pn)

This is a useful link for finding which extensions relate to where:

http://www.whitelines.nl/html/domainregistration.html

Regarding the domains, i think they will have value in time - solid keywords, but probably at the mo, low $xxx at best to a reseller or affiliate, but if you hit a "local" targetting the market, really could be anything...but suggest that you would have to be very patient meantime ;)

Jeff. .pk = pakistan.

Thanks :) any more?

Since poker isn't legally allowed in Pakistan so chances to find an end user in Pakistan are rare. Since it is new extension so it is hard to appraise right now. However since it is a solid keyword so you can get 3 figures for it.

Bank.pk is too much generic IMO, Banks.pk would still look better if you are going after development. I think it can also get somewhere in three figures (more or less). May be in four figures if you find an end user.

Good Luck

Righto, thanks much for the assist! :gl:
$0.00 - Reg. fee's each/any/all, IMHO.

Best of Luck.

$0 for poker.pk? Jeff, perhaps you should notice that poker.am <-- a worse extention sold for $400-500.

I know you may hate .cctlds... but a more fair appraisal using market sales is appreciated :)

As for Bank.Pk I am having a broker peddle it to his local pakistani connections he has.

I'd HARDLY consider .AM to be worse then .PK... BUT in defense of your names/sales to the new owner Poker.ANYTHING is worth low $XXXX these days.. I don't understand it but that's the market value. It's funny to see people posting REG FEE for Poker.PK when anyone can look @ SEDO and see that Poker.CC names are getting bids and are selling like hotcakes.. I know there's a few guys on here who will buy Poker.ANYCC for @ least $1000

Poker lovers will pay

For anyone to say poker.pk is reg fee is not playing with a full deck!!! :hehe:

I'm sure if you posted it for sale on Sedo or even on Namepros you would see mid $XXX (minimum) by the end of the week at the latest. So thats the value.

The .pk extension could obviously be viewed as something that is positive being viewed as a short form of poker. It will not really add value but it should help out.

Good luck and I'd say hold out for the right offer or turn it quickly and count the cash. The $35 reg fee should turn out to be a good investment.

This thread is 5 months old, and was brought back to life today with a new reply/post.

Smooth is correct, damitssam already sold Poker.pk

If I remember correctly, it sold at SEDO for approximately $2K.

You make me scared. I went today to the .PK registrar and did find out there are all domain available for registration. Their whois failed to work properly. And I didnt' find any other whois for pakistani domains

I think people are misinterpretting the .pk whois. When you try and register the names, they are upselling you on hosting, not saying the names are available. They must have taken notes from Godaddy or something. Every elite keyword I've checked in the extension is taken.
