Just finished the transfer of Poker.lu at Sedo and was curious if the price paid was reasonable. The extension .lu is from Luxembourg, a small financial orientated country in Europe. Yes, they have casino's, but obviously I bought the name especially for the word before the dot and not for the extension. Thanks for your input, I will post the price I paid after the first posts, John.

Sorry man, I think you way overpaid. I agree that POKER is a great name, but you have to be careful with extensions. Here are some POKER. (exotic tlds) that are available at reg fee

Skg, I tried to reg some available poker names, but found that they were all taken or 'reserved' (the net.co or org.tm or so names were available, but I don't like them, I only wanted one short extension). Even some times I regged it and the amount was deducted from my credit card, later on I got a refund, but if I check the name again it still shows available, strange. In a thread here at NP I saw poker.sh sold for $ 2,000 and that made me go for poker.lu for $ 1,500. Maybe you're right and I overpaid, but I also wanted to make my gambling name collection complete
