Just finished the transfer of Poker.lu at Sedo and was curious if the price paid was reasonable. The extension .lu is from Luxembourg, a small financial orientated country in Europe. Yes, they have casino's, but obviously I bought the name especially for the word before the dot and not for the extension. Thanks for your input, I will post the price I paid after the first posts, John.

If you can develop this into a poker site then the price of the domain will hit the roof! Yes Luxembourg do have casinos but look at it from these point of views.

1) Luxembourg havnt got a poker casino online, if they did then someone else would own the domain you have. Thats not saying you cant develop it though!

2) If it was worth that much money then you wouldnt be the owner, not unless you pay'd thousands for it.

With that in mind that isnt saying you cant develop it. You have the power to make this worth alot of money. Luxembourg is a very small place, use it to its potentional.

Very nice domain! I wish I could have poker.ca, since I'm from Canada but that would never happen. Anyways poker is really hot right now and I think it's going to be for a long time. As Domains4u pointed out you have a lot of potential with this domain. I'm going to appraise it at $1000 and that's without anything.

He payd $1,500 for it, so its worth that. But you could touch $xx,xxx with development, and yes do a local and english version! Could be very big. Take your time developing it, no rush. You could earn alot of money of this.

Personaly id develop it and sell it on, but if you have the time, patience and money, run the site yourself. Youd need a dedicated server with 100% uptime ect. But you could make this work.

Thanks Domains, I will develop it and will take my time. I also have a strong feeling that search engines like Google are very friendly for nice words before the dot as you can see if you for example google roulette, roulette.sh is coming in at number 1 while .sh is only from St. Helena

Whoops, I will look into it. I use a software I purchased and I guess it is not working like it should.

Just check www.eurodns.com and all European extensions are taken. Please ignore any european extensions in my list that show as available.
