Point In Polygon [php]

Ive seen several c/c++ algorithms for finding out whether a point is within a polygon but Ive yet to find any php implementations of this. If anyone has some sample code or could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Never needed anything like that before so I can't really help. Cant you take the formula from the c/c++ algorithms and write it up in php?
