I may be a minority in my thought but I think they got one hell of deal at this price point. A massive dating site that has tremendous growth numbers and 100+ million member base....imagine the possibilities with marketing. I know many years ago I used POF for advertising and it worked great so they will recover their cost quickly.

I think it was a great deal for Match! Literally a steal at this price!

Not expert (far from Guru or a Guru Troll) enough to know the difference between a "business story, or "a domaining story" but did find it, interesting news!.

I remember I red this story on domainbit.com about six years ago very interesting story about how he made the huge money in 3months. But even if it is a business story; it serve as a moral boosting for domainers.

Best part of this story was that the founder of POF is also the sole shareholder. No (a,b,c,d,e,f,g) rounds of financing or angel investors. All the money is his. Now that is a boot strap story.
