This story is a bit odd but 3 or months or so ago i backordered a whole rake of names with pool. Never won a thing (or rather pool never caught any). Anyway I check my backorder list today and 3 of the names (i thought were good) showed a dropped date that had already passed so i check them out and available so i regged them.

They were

i-thankyou.com
i-designs.net
1stwomen.com

1st of all, id like you guys to pin a number to them and secondly, why is it pool didnt catch any of them for me?? (or at least try too - fgs)

IMO, i think they're all reg fee-low$xx... for i-thankyou.com and i-designs.net, the hyphen kinda kills it. ithankyou or idesigns would be much better
with 1stwomen.com the mix of numbers and letters isnt very good...

thanks for your input jyfan and, to be perfectly honest, i am really surprised. I understand that w/ the hyphen the names would be better but what would ithankyou.com be worth?? id say high $$$ at least. So, the hyphenated version should not be that far adrift, surely?? Personally, i think in regard to the i-thankyou.com, the hyphenated version is better.

with regard i-designs.net, all extensions including a lot of TLDcc extensions are taken so, to me, that fact alone gives it value.

The 1stwomen one, ok, not so sure about that one but you never know has some presidential connotations.

well.. IMO i-thankyou looks a bit... unnatural? other people may see it differently

Not a chance I don't think. Why would anyone visit them (i-designs is better but is .net).

Commercial oppportunity for i-thankyou.com - email thank you notes? ummmm?

Worth nothing if undeveloped - worth a bit more if developed.

reg. fee each -- Hyphens and/or .net hurts these names. Also, low dev. potential. Be happy Pool didn't catch them for you!

Would take A LOT of Development to regain your fees if Pool had grabbed them for you - IMO
