PLEASE!! Suggest me a domain name.

Oh my god!!

Finding a domain is really tough. I just ended wasting 2 hours brainstorming a few quality domains, and guess what - all were taken.

At last, I ask you to help me.

Please suggest an available domain related to blogging niche. I need to to be short, sweet, pronounceable, and brandable .com. Bonus for me if it has "Blog" in it.

Please consider the fact that I want to build a business, not a website.

Here's a list a few domains I brainstormed, so you get the picture of the type of domains I like:

Blogster
blogcoach
blogburst
blogology
blogosphere

Most names are taken out of two-word .COMs with "blog".

I found:

BlogCosmic.com
BlogVisual.com

Your chances increase with a hyphen or .NET TLD. You may have to buy one if you NEED a good name.

Hi techiekaran,

You're going to have a tough time finding anything short and brandable with "blog" in it - that is not registered. In fact I remember scanning for this exact theme about 2 years ago and finding scare results.

By the sounds of it your looking to build some sort of network or hub for blogs. If this is the case I might suggest an alternate branding scheme where you look for something catchy and out-side of the box - perhaps tied to one of the smaller blog niches. (IE. HubPad.com or something like that.. and I doubt HubPad is available it's just an example.)

Going this route you'll avoid a lot of marketing expenses trying to compete in search marketing on such a competitive term. Aside from that you might find something down your alley right here on the forums, generally from resellers who picked them up a few years back in order sell them at a slight profit.

If you're interested I think I still have BlogProud.com in my portfolio somewhere, although I might have sent it to auction. Good luck finding something that will work for you!

I like it very much. Blogaxy is used as a synonym for blogosphere. I guess, it comes from "blog galaxy" idea.

Whenever someone asks for help in regging something, I like to try to be creative and see if I can find something cool for them.
Sounds like you have a great idea, building a Company and not just a Blog, Great Vision.

Well, I just entered about 20 "blog" type ideas into the Reg Search, and 3 of them were available.
Not sure if you will like them but I thought they sounded pretty cool.

It seems that you are from INDIA.In that case I also own a domain which includes a Hindi word but has a reference in Microsoft Encarta. The domain in "BlogNukkad.com" .You can visit Encarta and search for Nukkad which refers to a "chatting place". Reply if interested!
