A lot of domainers on NP have complained about Namejet but they don't seem to care as people are still listing their names or buying domains at Namejet.

Sellers are not getting their funds and buyers are not getting the domains they won and paid for.

I bought a domain in Oct 2019, my card was charged the same day and I am still waiting to get the domain name.

Please help other domainers, STOP Buying or Selling at Namejet.

How many "sellers" are not getting their funds and "buyers" not getting their domain they paid for?

Things often "fall thru the cracks" in any business. It is to be expected. But if it happens 100% of the time then ok.

I was about to list with them. Now I kinda don't want to after coming across this thread.

I'll wait to see what others say here.

Trying to get a gauge on this before I list with them at this point. So do you think themaverick and others are isolated? I genuinely wanna know. Thanks. have your transactions at NP gone smoothly? I guessing?

I recently purchased a domain at NameJet.

They set buyers up with a new account at whichever service the domain was previously registered at. The information in my account was pretty weak as to where I could find it. It linked to eNomCentral as the registrar, but I got an email from Network Solutions saying the domain had been transferred to my account there.

Only problem was that it didn't give me any login information to actually access the domain...just an account number.

Spent a weekend worrying whether or not I'd actually ever get the domain since there was no support off hours. I finally got in touch with Network Solutions customer service (20 minutes on hold) and they were easily able to generate an activation link to my email address.

From a buyers perspective I'd say make sure your NameJet account information is up to date (phone num, address, email address) as that's what they use to generate a new account at outside registrars when domain purchase is successful.

I think if you're willing to deal with the headaches there are some good domain names on discount through NameJet.

I don't know the particulars of the domain or the situation of it. But your commanding of others to now stop buying and selling there because of your 'one' issue, is simply ludicrous.

I've never been a fan of setting yourself on fire type of protesting. If I stopped buying and selling at Namejet, I only hurt myself and this does nothing to help your situation. I posted in the other thread and have read it. Yes, the communication should be better, it's not as good as it was in the past. It seems you have a problem with a seller not delivering a name. I'm not sure what they can do about that, I'm sure they would want that to go as smooth as possible themselves. I think most of the auctions I'm in are expiring names vs. private sellers (where there are more issues) and it's pretty smooth for me.

How would I know if the seller at Namejet is not delivering the name. You suggest I assume this?

The reason someone would buy at any marketplace is if they see the benefit in the transaction and offcourse I bought with same intentions.

I have successfully bought and sold at Namejet in the past.

But that was past.

If you can pay a company for some goods hoping you got a bargain and not receive the goods at all, and not hear any thing from them after the initial receipt, please keep buying at Namejet.

For me, I am not buying at Namejet until this issue is resolved.

that everyone should stop buying and selling on NameJet because 'poor you' were having a bad experience!! Who are 'you' to think your issue is soooo important that everyone should obey your command to stop their abilities of doing business somewhere because of your issue?? As if only your problems are the most important ones! (News for you - they're not!!) You could have just raised the point of your experience so others would be aware. But you didn't!!! Instead you wanted everyone to halt what they do just because 'you' are upset. Poor you. Grow up!!

I still have not gotten paid for names sold in February. My balance with them is about $7K. I sent them an email on the 16th and this is the reply...

"I understand your frustration so we are following with our AP team to address this as a priority.
Thank you for your patience and again, we apologize for any disruption. It is not our intent to have you not receive your funds."

It's now the 21st and still no payment.

If I was the only one, I wouldn't have received "Thanks" and "Likes" for my original post.

May be its normal in your business to not receive the product you paid for.

May be its normal for you to expect no response from customer service months after you have created a ticket.
