I recently launched my social bookmarking site:

I have configured it to auto approve and no captcha verification for ease to users.


Please review it and send me your suggestions.

Also it would be great if you can give me ideas how to promote my social bookmarking website.

I reviewed your site and i think your site is great, well looking, but the logo is not professional. It look amateur and simple. You can change it by another one to make it more interesting.

I like it's simplicity and convenience. Just add more ads, and links connecting to facebook and twitter.

I like your web site design. It is good looking. But I would like to change some points: background and buttons. I think dark color will be better for it.

You could improve on the header. Other than that using Pligg? Whats the purpose of this site anyway? My suggestion for you is to choose a niche and then promote. Thats my two cents for ya. Right now social bookmarks are everywhere, not simply anyone will join just like that.

Find a niche and focus on that. Lose the serifed font in the logo; it looks more professional and more Web 2.0 that way.

I'd add a background color to the page. Not to the content area itself, but all the blank space to the right and left of the content.

yes i am doing something different, which rest of the social bookmarking websites dont have:
-no captcha verification
-auto approval
-no email verification
=)

I guess these would help users in submitting their bookmarks quickly.

Also i plan to add more features and upgrade the website.
I am still working on the new version.

More ideas would be highly appreciated =)

Site looks good to me. Some of the points the other made I see and understand what they mean. It is little things that will have to be changed as time goes on. Thats how I do things with mine. Have you any ueser yet and is the site free of bugs and running good?

it would be great if you could share your site too :D
Mine is free of bugs, no errors and the site runs smoothly.
It is getting 2-3 new users daily.
Currently the site has over 50 users =)
I would do some modifications which i'm still working on..

you site is rather lightweight but it's still slow, probably you're on a slow server

according to http://siteloadtest.com/ you have 2 css files and 4 js files and 16/21 images are small

you can combine css files, js files and 16 small images, it should help

or just change your hosting
