just replace those 125x125 graphics with actual button, put in your own site on it, "advertise here" is quite a turn off these days then put up a text link that says "advertise" don't make it too obvious.

Logo is horrible need to be rendered better

Simple design. But it is getting there. Just a few touches would polish it up. Your header for example, the text is clearly pixellated (as if it was done in MS Paint) and the pictures are too. I would suggest looking at the variety of other graphic editing programs out there.

The search is odd (in the header). You have green text for the word search and then a white background on a black background. Very unprofessional there! The header could also be expanded to the size of the blue menu below it, just to make the site flow a bit better.

Other then that. The design of the entire site isn't too bad. Don't forget a favicon! Good luck.
